Turns out the R-93 manual DOES contain schematics for the CCC, the mechanism control PCB, the power supply (a newer revision, but nearly identical), the display/keyboard control (again, similar but not the same).

I've since found (online) a trove of 80's era Rowe manuals (including R-84 through R-94 and some of the CD-100 models). It also does not have any information about the CCC error codes, nor anything about the OBA-P dollar bill validator. So just FYI to anyone considering buying an R-89 manual: it contains little in the way of schematics. HOWEVER, it does NOT contain any schematics of the CCC (central control computer) no schematics of the mechanism control PCB no schematics of the light display control PC no schematics of the power supply. Turns out, the manual does contain schematics of the amplifier (including the pre-amp), and a mostly-complete wiring diagram. He found some schematics, and I placed my order.
However, I wanted to be sure it contained the SCHEMATICS. The guy at VG on the phone was as helpful as he could me, looking through it, telling my how many pages (about 140) etc. However, what annoys me is that when buying a manual sight unseen, you don't really know what it's going to contain. I have no issues with the customer service from Victory either they were friendly and shipped it promptly. The R-89 manual I got from Victory is reasonably high-quality reproduction, printed on nice paper, with a heavy plastic cover and a spiral binding (it is the 2nd endition, 1st printing, FWIW). In any case, I wanted to pass on some of what I've learned so far. I guess fewer people own jukes than arcade games, and even fewer of those personally do the work on them resulting in the sorry state of doc availability.

Based on recommendations online (and a shortage of PDF documentation online), I bought a manual from Victory Glass. It mostly works, but I've got a long list of "little things" to fix or tweak.
I've been having a lot of fun learning about jukes in general, and this particular model (and its ilk). I recently picked up a Rowe R-89 jukebox (~1985, 45 RPM) at an auction.
